The Twynphony Hopes Foundation onboarded a wonderful new beneficiary when we had the opportunity to visit Jan Seva (a branch of Society for Indian Children's Welfare or SICW) in Kolkata, India.
Jan Seva is a heartwarming non-profit catering to children from the slums of Kolkata in the age-group 0-6 years, providing free medical care, meals and primary education to the children and vocational training, adult education and computer programs for the parents.
In addition, the children of Jan Seva were invited by the Masonic Lodge of Kolkata to celebrate Christmas with an entertaining, fun filled afternoon. The children and staff enjoyed rides, food boxes, games, gifts and high-tea. We had a great experience bonding with the children, learning about how Jan Seva operates end to end and what their needs are that we can help fulfil.
